About Adam

Adam T. Walton has more than twelve years of litigation experience representing individuals, property owners, business owners, and companies in complex disputes. His practice at Braun & Gresham focuses on protecting Texas landowners and helping clients navigate property-related conflicts, business disputes, contract matters, and other civil litigation. 

Throughout his career, Adam has handled cases involving real estate investments, construction and development, landlords and tenants, property owner associations, oil and gas companies, solar contractors, employers, medical service providers, financial professionals, and small businesses. His experience includes drafting and arguing dispositive motions, pursuing and defending requests for temporary restraining orders and other injunctive relief, navigating regulatory proceedings, and resolving matters through negotiation. When litigation cannot be avoided, Adam is prepared to take a case through trial and appeal. 

Prior to entering private practice, Adam gained extensive experience working within the court system. He served as a law clerk for the Honorable Alice M. Batchelder of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, as an appellate prosecutor in Comal County, Texas, and as a staff attorney for the Honorable Robert Pemberton of the Third Court of Appeals of Texas. These roles gave him valuable insight into how courts analyze evidence, evaluate legal arguments, and reach decisions. 

Adam applies that experience by carefully examining each dispute, identifying the legal and practical risks involved, and helping clients determine the strongest path forward. His approach combines thoughtful preparation, practical problem solving, and a willingness to advocate however necessary. 

Adam earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Liberty University School of Law, where he served as an editor of the law review and earned concentrations in Advocacy, Trial Advocacy, and Constitutional Law. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Christian Philosophy, summa cum laude, from Whitefield College. In 2022, Adam was elected a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. 

A seventh-generation Texan, Adam lives in the Texas Hill Country with his wife, Jamie, and their two children. Outside of the office, he enjoys hiking, hunting, woodworking, grilling, Aggie football, and Spurs basketball. He also serves on the board of Red Oak Hope, an organization that supports women who have survived trafficking and abuse.
