Project Overview

Pictured is the Whistler Pipeline Overview map provided by WhiteWater Midstream. See below for Braun & Gresham’s project tracking map identifying potentially impacted properties along this pipeline route.

The Whistler Pipeline LLC is an approximately 450-mile, 42-inch intrastate pipeline that will transport natural gas from West Texas to the Gulf Coast. An approximately 50-mile 36-inch lateral will provide connectivity for gas processors in the Midland Basin. The pipeline is a joint venture between MPLX LP, WhiteWater Midstream, Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners and West Texas Gas.

The pipeline will have transportation capacity of 2 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d).

Project Details

Whistler Pipeline has contracted for the supply of 42”/36” steel pipeline needed to complete the project, and is on schedule for a summer 2021 in-service date. Construction will commence in 2020.

The Open Season on the Pipeline ended on December 16, 2019.

Braun & Gresham Update

Braun & Gresham’s interactive map of the Whistler Pipeline shows a 3-mile wide buffer (yellow area on the map) of the most likely route for this pipeline. The public maps made available by WhiteWater Midstream are not precise enough to locate the corridor with more certainty. We are working with landowners to pinpoint a more precise route and will update this map as information is gathered.

Disclaimer: All information provided about the impacted properties in Braun & Gresham’s project tracking map is gathered from local tax roles and is public information. The accuracy of the data is contingent on the information those local tax roles have produced.
