Overview
Oncor Electric Delivery Company LLC (“Oncor”) and Lower Colorado River Authority Transmission Services Corp. (“LCRA TSC”) propose to construct a double-circuit 345 kV transmission line (project) located within Crane, Reeves, Ward, Crockett and Pecos Counties.
The proposed project would connect the North McCamey Station, which is located approximately 0.6 mile north of the City of McCamey, and the Sand Lake Station, which is located approximately 6 miles northeast of the City of Pecos on the northwest side of Farm-to-Market Road (FM) 3398. The proposed transmission line will be approximately 90-100 miles in length, if approved by the Public Utility Commission of Texas (“PUC”).
Project Updates
Jan. 2023: Braun & Gresham is closely monitoring this project and recently learned that the project is in the public meeting phase, gathering public input on potential routes the transmission line may take. An application with the PUC is anticipated to be filed in Spring of 2023.
