The Texas Department of Transportation is proposing improvements to SH 46 from Esser Road to Ammann Road in Boerne, Texas. The proposed project includes expanding SH 46 form two lanes to four lanes with two-way left turn lanes and medians. The proposed project also includes bike lanes and sidewalks. It is anticipated that right of way will be acquired for the proposed improvements.

The proposed $11 million project is designed to improve safety and mobility.
