Cassie Gresham Named Finalist for Austin Business Journal Best CEO Awards

Since becoming Partner in 2011 and stepping into the CEO role in 2021, Cassie has transformed Braun & Gresham from a one-attorney practice into the largest multidisciplinary law firm in the Texas Hill Country. She built a structured executive team through smart internal promotions and external hires. Additionally, she expanded firm capabilities with five seasoned attorneys in 2024, and implemented the Entrepreneurial Operating System to support sustainable, agile growth.
Cassie’s leadership goes beyond legal counsel. In 2024 she launched education initiatives, summits, webinars, and digital resources. These empower landowners to protect their rights and heritage. Her policy advocacy helped expand the Barton Springs Edwards Aquifer Conservation District and secure Ecological Laboratory status for over 646 landowners. This accomplishment covers 88,000 acres in 53 counties, important gains for university research access in the most privately owned state in the U.S.
A recognized thought leader, Cassie frequently speaks at industry conferences and summits, including the JP Morgan Private Landowners Summit. She also offers leadership and funding to nonprofits such as Foster Village, PAWS, the Trail Conservancy (where she served as President), Hill Country Conservancy, and the Texas Wildlife Association.
