Bennett Trust Women’s Land Stewardship Conference

Braun & Gresham attorney & counselor Carly Barton will be speaking at the Bennett Trust Women’s Land Stewardship Conference in Fredericksburg on October 5th. 

Supported by the Bennett Trust endowment, a legacy of Eskell and Ruth Bennett, the conference provides practical, region-specific education for landowners in the Edwards Plateau. Sessions help new landowners and multigenerational ranchers gain the knowledge needed to manage their property, preserve natural resources, and plan for the future. 

As Texas expands its energy infrastructure to meet growing demand, the state’s electrical grid is seeing the introduction of higher-capacity 765-kV transmission lines. When a transmission project may affect private property, understanding the condemnation process and your options can help you make informed decisions about your land.
